Austin Interior Designer for Homes That Feel Like You
Creating functional and stylish spaces that reflect your personality.
Kaki John Interiors is a full-service interior design firm based in Austin, Texas. We design remodels, new construction and fully furnished homes for people who want a space that looks like them, feels good to live in, and gets done without them having to manage every detail.
WHAT WE DO
Interior design services in Austin
Every project starts with a conversation about how you live, what you love and what isn't working in the space right now. From there, we take on as much or as little as you need.
Remodeling
Kitchens, baths and whole-home renovations, with selections and drawings your builder can work from.
New Construction
Bring us in at the planning stage, so layouts, finishes and lighting are decided before construction instead of after.
Full-Service Interior Design
From the first plan review through finishes, fixtures, furnishings and the final walkthrough, coordinated alongside your builder and trades.
Project Planning and Design
Early planning for layouts, scope, budget and selections, so the key design decisions are made before work begins.
Furnishings
Sourcing and selection of furniture, lighting, rugs, art and accessories to finish each room.
Space Planning and Sourcing
Room layouts and furniture plans that fit how you live, plus sourcing the pieces to bring each room together.
Home Staging
Getting a house ready to sell, with furniture, styling and finishing touches that help buyers picture themselves living there.
OUR APPROACH
Bold, warm design built for real life
Our work leans bold, warm and personal: confident color, pattern that earns its place, and pieces with a story behind them, balanced with the comfort a house needs for everyday life.
Our clients are busy, and they hire us so they don't have to become part-time project managers. We keep decisions moving, give you a clear point of view when you're stuck between options, and handle the details you'd rather not think about.
Kaki has been designing homes since 2012, working side by side with builders and contractors on full projects. She launched Kaki John Interiors in February 2023, the same year she earned her interior design degree from the New York Institute of Art and Design.
